carpet/upholstery: TRICK: The best way to blot a stain is to take your thumb and place it in a rag or paper towel and push finger into stain and turn clockwise. Try not to "rub" the stain as you may cause fraying of fibers. Stain Turned Bluish Color This is normal for some stains. Just follow the directions on the bottle. |

Other Cleaners First? Cross your fingers, you may have set the stain. But, try these tips. Fabric: Spray with Wine Away. Let stand for 15 minutes. Repeat and follow with a laundry pre-wash and launder as usual. TIP: Check stained area before drying. If stain remains repeat process. Carpet/upholstery: Saturate stain with Wine Away. Let Wine Away penetrate fibers for 20-30 minutes. Then blot stain as mentioned above. Let treated area DRY. If stain remains repeat process. TRICK: Sometimes allowing the Wine Away to dry seems to be the trick. Oriental Rug The Wine Away will work just fine. Just follow the directions on the bottle. TIP: Wine Away is a water-based cleaner. Some carpet/ upholstery requires "solvent" based cleaners. Test in an inconspicuous area before using. |
Blood?
Fresh Blood: Apply Wine Away as directed on label. Old Blood: Apply Wine Away as directed on label. It may take repeated applications. TIP: If on clothes, spray with Wine Away. Let treated area dry. Repeat two more times, then apply laundry pre-wash and launder as usual.
Unfortunately, the stain may be set-in. However, try these tricks. Saturate stain with Wine Away. Let garment dry. Repeat. Spray stained area with Wine Away and laundry pre-wash and launder. TRICK: Add some Wine Away to the wash cycle to give it an added boost. TIP: Inspect garment before drying. If stain remains, repeat entire process from beginning. Keep trying, it will probably work! |
